Description

You will manage and automate MongoDB infrastructure within a Linux environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate and maintain MongoDB Community Edition databases and infrastructure on Linux.
• Design, build, and automate infrastructure specifically for MongoDB Community Edition.
• Provide technical input during customer design and development meetings to improve code quality.
• Guide and support junior and mid-level developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with MongoDB Community Edition on Linux.
• Deep understanding of MongoDB architecture and internals outside of GUI environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, or similar automation methods for infrastructure tasks.
• Strong Shell Scripting skills.
• Proven debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in DevOps environments and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and automating AWS ElastiCache.
