Description

You will automate and maintain MongoDB infrastructure using Community Edition on Linux. You own the release pipeline and operational standards for database services.

Responsibilities

• Automate MongoDB databases and infrastructure using Community Edition on Linux.
• Design and build automated infrastructure for MongoDB Community Edition.
• Provide technical input during customer design meetings to improve code quality.
• Guide and support junior and mid-level developers.
• Develop new solutions, processes, standards, and operational plans.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with MongoDB Community Edition on Linux.
• 3+ years of Ansible development of increasing complexity.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB architecture.
• Experience with AWS database services, including EC2 and S3.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Confluence, and Jira.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible Automation Platform.
• Experience automating AWS ElastiCache provisioning and maintenance.
• Experience working in DevOps environments and Agile projects.
