Description

Manage and automate MongoDB infrastructure within a Linux environment, designing solutions for MongoDB Community Edition while providing technical input to improve code quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate and maintain MongoDB Community Edition databases and infrastructure on Linux.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
• Develop new solutions, standards, and operational plans to improve functional strategy.
• Guide and support junior and mid-level developers in their technical growth.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with MongoDB Community Edition on Linux.
• Deep understanding of MongoDB architecture and internals outside of a GUI environment.
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, or similar methods for infrastructure automation.
• Strong Shell Scripting skills.
• Hands-on experience with AWS database services including RDS, EC2, and S3.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in DevOps environments and Agile methodologies.
• Automation of AWS ElastiCache provisioning, administration, and maintenance.
• Proficiency with Git/Bitbucket, Confluence, and JIRA.
