Senior MySQL DBA (MySQL/Redis) Job Responsibilities include:

Manage and optimize MySQL and Redis clusters, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability in production environments.

Troubleshoot and resolve database issues such as slow queries, replication lag, and system bottlenecks.

Perform SQL optimization, index tuning, and execution plan analysis to improve database efficiency.

Design and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity.

Monitor database health using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana, enhancing alerting and performance tracking.

Develop automation scripts and support incident response processes to improve operational efficiency and system reliability.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in MySQL database administration and production operations.

Fluent in spoken Mandarin and written Chinese; ability to read, write, and communicate professionally in Chinese is required.

Strong expertise in MySQL replication, high availability architectures, and SQL performance tuning with InnoDB.

Hands-on experience managing Redis in production environments, along with strong troubleshooting, automation (Shell/Python), and monitoring skills
