Manage and optimize MySQL and Redis clusters for high availability, performance, and scalability in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize MySQL and Redis clusters to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot database issues including slow queries, replication lag, and system bottlenecks.
• Perform SQL optimization, index tuning, and execution plan analysis to improve efficiency.
• Design and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for data integrity.
• Monitor database health using Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana to enhance alerting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in MySQL database administration and production operations.
• Strong expertise in MySQL replication, high availability architectures, and SQL performance tuning with InnoDB.
• Hands-on experience managing Redis in production environments.
• Proficiency in automation using Shell and Python.
• Experience monitoring with Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Fluent in spoken Mandarin and written Chinese; professional communication skills in Chinese are required.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
