Description

You will develop and maintain critical government IT applications using the .NET stack.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize SQL statements and stored procedures for application data needs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and analyze complex software issues within existing systems.
• Maintain and upgrade current applications and supporting systems.
• Analyze and organize complex technical data logically for team review.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience in software development roles within government IT projects.
• 8 years of experience building and optimizing SQL statements and stored procedures.
• 3 years of experience supporting Water Quality/Safety Information Systems.
• Working knowledge of ASP.NET, .NET, C#, HTML, and CSS.
• Demonstrable skills in software troubleshooting, debugging, and test case execution.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience adhering to software security standards and best practices.
• Fluent in English with proven ability to communicate across technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing, configuring, and supporting SDWIS, Water Quality Exchange (WQX), SWIFT, and DW–SFTIES.
• Experience working or collaborating with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
