Description

You will modernize legacy applications by extracting business logic from SQL and translating it into scalable .NET services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing SQL queries and stored procedures to understand embedded business logic.
• Design and develop backend components using .NET Core to replace legacy database-driven logic.
• Optimize SQL queries for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services supporting application functionality.
• Collaborate with architects and frontend teams to interpret business rules and support production issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in .NET and C# (.NET Core preferred).
• Expert-level SQL knowledge, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with application or database modernization projects.
• Ability to reverse-engineer business logic from legacy SQL-based implementations.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically SQL Server.
• Understanding of layered architecture, service-oriented design, and API development.
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps.
