Description

You will develop and own backend services, translating legacy database logic into scalable .NET applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and reverse-engineer business logic embedded in SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Design and develop backend components using .NET / .NET Core, converting database logic into scalable application services.
• Participate in application modernization, migrating from legacy systems to service-oriented or API-driven architectures.
• Optimize SQL queries for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services to support application functionality.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in .NET / C# for backend development.
• Expert SQL knowledge, covering complex queries, joins, CTEs, and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience in application or database modernization projects.
• Ability to reverse-engineer business logic from legacy SQL implementations.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server.
• Understanding of layered architecture, service-oriented design, and API development.
• Proficiency with Git and Azure DevOps.
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
