Description

You will develop new applications and support legacy systems using a mix of .NET and Java technologies. You will own the full lifecycle from design and coding to testing and deployment, while mentoring other staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using .NET, C#, Java, and ASP.NET Core MVC.
• Port Java code samples and libraries to C# to modernize legacy systems.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Implement secure coding practices and testing strategies, including Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Create front-end code from design mock-ups and wireframes, consuming RESTful APIs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in .NET Web Development, including at least 4 years with ASP.NET Core MVC.
• 10+ years of experience with C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later.
• 10+ years of experience with SQL Server database design, development, and query optimization.
• 10+ years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and securing WCF.
• 10+ years of experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) for code promotion, recovery, and CI/CD pipelines.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• 5+ years of experience consuming RESTful APIs and implementing AJAX within ASP.NET.
• 2+ years of experience with the Java language and Microsoft C# .NET Core or .NET 8.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL development.
• Experience with Azure or AWS, containers, and Kubernetes.
• MCPD certification.
