Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of web applications, focusing on legacy system maintenance and modern framework migrations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using classic ASP, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Architect and optimize SQL Server databases, including schema design, complex queries, and stored procedures.
• Migrate legacy web applications to modern, compatible frameworks.
• Modify existing applications to meet ADA 504 compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and bugs within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills

• 25+ years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading legacy platforms and systems.
• 20+ years of experience with legacy ASP and ASP.NET web applications.
• 15+ years of front-end development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Advanced SQL Server expertise, including database design, Entity Framework, and SSRS.
• Proficiency with C#, Visual Studio, Bootstrap, and RESTful Web APIs.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and resolve incidents under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with ArcGIS.
• Prior experience working with the Texas Education Agency.
