Description

You will build secure web applications and APIs for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, working onsite in Cayce, SC.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern web applications using PrimeNG, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services with ASP.NET Core.
• Design database schemas and write optimized queries in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Implement manual and automated testing throughout the SDLC.
• Create technical documentation and adhere to agency IT standards and security policies.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with PrimeNG, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• 3+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• 3+ years of experience with DevOps practices.
• 5+ years of experience with manual and automated system testing.
• 3+ years of experience creating technical documentation.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with information security standards such as NIST, HIPAA, or CJIS.
• Familiarity with data privacy, security standards, and regulatory compliance for state and federal systems.
• Experience with Power BI, Azure, or SharePoint.
