Description

Senior .NET Developer in Harrisburg, PA. You will own the development, maintenance, and transition of critical laboratory systems including PALIMS and Laboratory Certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify software code to meet business requirements using established SDLC practices.
• Maintain Laboratory Certification and other interfaces through error monitoring, code fixes, and data validation.
• Troubleshoot performance issues across server, application, and database layers.
• Support software build and release activities for PALIMS, Laboratory Certification, and Laboratory Web Portal systems.
• Execute technical transition activities from the PALIMS system to a new LIMS and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of web-focused, data-driven software development using Microsoft .NET 4.5+ and SQL Server.
• 7+ years designing and maintaining complex SQL Server databases, SSIS, and SSRS solutions.
• 5+ years of software development using Microsoft Entity Framework.
• Proficiency with C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and WCF.
• Strong experience with T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server 2016, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Experience with Visual Studio, .NET Framework, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and Razor pages.
• Working knowledge of XML/XSLT, Azure DevOps, Windows Server 2016, IIS, and PowerShell.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HL7 Messages and Rhapsody Integration Engine.
• Background in healthcare information technology or government sector.
