Description

You will own the full development lifecycle for Microsoft Stack applications, from requirements analysis to deployment. You write technical specifications, design solutions using C# and MVC frameworks, and execute unit testing strategies. You collaborate with project managers and technical staff to prototype, debug, and refine applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and agency standards. You work independently to resolve technical challenges and coordinate with external partners as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C# and supported MVC frameworks within the Microsoft Stack.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual designs and business requirements.
• Execute object-oriented design, development, and unit testing best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers to maintain project plans and meet milestones.
• Prototype, test, and debug programs to resolve application needs and data transmission conflicts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with C# programming.
• Proficiency with Microsoft .NET Framework and MVC frameworks.
• Experience in full software development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design.
• Ability to write and execute unit testing strategies and plans.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented techniques and best practices.
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to document and communicate technical results to technical and functional staff.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) standards and file exchanges.
• Knowledge of federal and state policy alignment in technical solutions.
