Description

You will build and maintain web applications for the Indiana State Department of Health, owning the full software development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing applications to design and build new web solutions.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual designs and business requirements.
• Develop code using object-oriented techniques and established best practices.
• Create and execute unit testing strategies and plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and functional teams to meet milestones.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft .NET Framework and C#.
• Experience with MVC frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Ability to work independently with latitude for judgment under general supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy application analysis and modernization.
