Design and build scalable applications for real-time event ingestion and processing.

Responsibilities

• Design and build highly scalable applications for real-time ingestion and processing of various events.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to educate team members on streaming and event-driven application development.
• Identify potential project risks and suggest effective mitigation strategies.
• Prepare technical documentation for the Fraud team and other external stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Strong programming experience in C# / .NET and/or Java.
• Experience with message-oriented middleware and streaming data technologies including Kafka, MQ, and Azure Event Hub.
• Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka.
• Proficiency in Azure Functions and Durable Functions using various protocols and triggers.
• Experience using Azure Logic Apps.
• Hands-on experience configuring Azure Event Hub, Event Grid, and related resources.
• Expertise in cloud NoSQL databases, specifically Azure Data Services or Cosmos DB.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of FeatureSpace ARIC Risk Hub platform.
• Experience working on fraud detection efforts within the financial industry.
