Description

You will own the development, integration, and release of intranet web applications, migrating legacy systems to modern architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement intranet web applications using ASP.NET, integrating new functionality with existing classic ASP, JavaScript, and VBScript codebases.
• Collaborate with business analysts to create technical design documentation and as-built application records.
• Manage complex release processes, handle change requests, and provide accurate effort estimates.
• Analyze end-to-end business processes, document requirements, and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality reviews.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide expert consulting on business and user needs.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in ASP.NET development.
• Extensive knowledge of the .NET Framework 3.5 or higher and object-oriented programming using C# or VB.NET.
• 7+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including in-depth knowledge of T-SQL and stored procedures.
• Experience maintaining and integrating legacy classic ASP, JavaScript, and VBScript applications.
• Proficiency with source code control systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and work effectively in a team environment.
