Role Overview
The client is seeking a strong, hands-on .NET Developer who can design and build REST APIs integrating with Peoplesoft Financials. This role involves working closely with middleware and ERP teams to support Coupa ↔ Peoplesoft integrations for financial transactions, updates, and workflow automation.
The ideal candidate will have deep .NET API development experience, and exposure to Peoplesoft, Financial ERP systems, or enterprise integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop robust, scalable .NET APIs used for integrating data between Coupa and Peoplesoft Financials.
Implement API endpoints for:
Sending updates from Coupa to Peoplesoft
Retrieving financial data from Peoplesoft and pushing it back to Coupa
Work with middleware teams to ensure seamless data exchange and transformation.
Write clean, secure, reusable C# code following best practices.
Troubleshoot integration issues, data mismatches, and connectivity errors.
Participate in design discussions to define integration workflows and technical specs.
Maintain logs, error handling, audit trails, and system stability.
Required Skills
10+ years of experience in .NET / C# backend development.
Strong experience building REST APIs, Web API, .NET Core / .NET 6+.
Hands-on experience with system integrations, middleware, or API gateways.
Good understanding of SQL Server / relational databases.
Experience with authentication, security, and API performance optimization.
Ability to work on onsite client environment in Orlando, FL.
Preferred Skills
Peoplesoft Financials experience (highly preferred).
Coupa or similar Procurement/Finance platforms.
Knowledge of Financial ERP workflows (AP, PO, GL, Invoices).
Experience with enterprise integration patterns.
Familiarity with message queues or integration tools (optional).
Soft Skills
Strong communication and requirement-gathering abilities.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional ERP + middleware teams.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on data accuracy and integration reliability.
