Description

You will lead the refactoring and enhancement of existing applications to migrate from Sybase to SQL Server.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy .NET code to identify and replace Sybase-specific logic.
• Refactor data access layers using Entity Framework and ADO.NET.
• Implement unit tests and support integration testing to maintain performance.
• Collaborate with DBAs and QA to ensure data consistency and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and follow secure coding practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• C# and ASP.NET MVC/Core.
• Entity Framework and LINQ.
• SQL Server integration, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Git and Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
