Description

You will lead the migration of legacy applications to Azure and develop scalable microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute analysis, development, and deployment of microservices and cloud-based migrations.
• Develop complex, mission-critical applications and document code using standard procedures.
• Collaborate with Architects, QA, and DBAs to implement data models and system hardware requirements.
• Provide technical production support and resolve complex functional or technical issues.
• Participate in unit, system, and user acceptance testing throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• 5+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Cloud, specifically refactoring legacy applications for migration.
• Strong proficiency in React, AngularJS, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML5.
• Experience building microservices and Web Services, preferably REST.
• Hands-on experience with GIT and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Experience with databases, specifically NoSQL and MS Cosmos.
• Knowledge of developer testing practices, including unit, functional, and system testing.
• Experience working within Agile software development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
