Description

 

Responsibilities

  • Owns the product’s technical architecture and design with the team, ensuring solutions are simple, reusable, scalable, and roadmap-aligned
  • Guides technology strategy, coding practices, continuous integration, automated deployment, and engineering standards that improve quality
  • Mentors and coaches developers through code reviews, hands-on problem solving, and removal of technical impediments
  • Partners with the Product Owner on roadmap alignment, story creation, acceptance criteria, and communication of technical tradeoffs
  • Challenges the status quo by identifying better ways to solve technical problems and deliver effective solutions
  • Owns and maintains documentation that supports system understanding, delivery execution, operational readiness, and support handoff
  • Facilitates working sessions with business teams, technical teams, and subject matter experts to validate understanding, close documentation gaps, and confirm accuracy
  • Captures decisions, open questions, risks, process changes, and follow-up items to support alignment and accountability across the Agile Release Train
  • Keeps documentation current through onboarding, transition, release, incident follow-up, decommissioning, and operational support activities


Key Skills

  • Recognized technical expert across relevant domains, products, and journeys
  • Seasoned developer or technical lead with strong experience in C#/.NET, Java, Angular, REST APIs, and modern cloud-based development.
  • Sound architecture decision-making at the team and product level
  • Experience designing and building front-end and back-end solutions across multiple architecture patterns
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with production cloud and DevOps environments


Agile/Digital Experience

  • Experience with SAFe Agile delivery; Solution Architect or similar experience preferred
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in ambiguous, evolving environments
  • Effective partnership with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Design Lead, and technical team
