Description

You will lead the migration of enterprise reporting capabilities from WebFOCUS to a modern .NET Core–based engine using FastReports.NET.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end modernization of WebFOCUS reports, data logic, and scheduling into a .NET-based framework.
• Analyze legacy WebFOCUS components, including FEX procedures, data sources, parameters, and access controls.
• Design target-state reporting architecture using .NET Core, Web APIs, and FastReports.NET.
• Define standards for report templates, metadata, versioning, scheduling, and distribution.

Required Skills

• 8–12+ years of overall software development experience.
• 5+ years in enterprise-scale .NET development.
• 3+ years of hands-on WebFOCUS experience.
• .NET Core / .NET 6+ and C#.
• ASP.NET Core Web API and Microservices architecture.
• Entity Framework Core (EF Core) and LINQ.
• SQL Server with complex queries and performance tuning.
• Proven experience leading or enabling legacy reporting migrations.
