Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of complex web applications and services on three-tier infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and solution architecture discussions for web-based and reporting applications.
• Develop and maintain multi-threaded services and web applications using .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Troubleshoot and remediate performance issues in web applications and Windows services.
• Manage source control and releases using GIT, TFS, and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or TeamCity.
• Build reusable components and manage packages via NuGet and NPM.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Experience with Microsoft ASP.NET, Web API, and Entity Framework.
• Proficiency in AngularJS (including version 2.0) and TypeScript.
• Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Knowledge of LINQ, HTML, CSS, and JSON.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS or Google Maps (strong preference for ArcGIS JavaScript API).
• Familiarity with WCAG AA 2.0/2.1 accessibility standards and cross-browser compatibility.
• Public sector experience in organizations of equivalent size or complexity to the Ontario Public Service.
