Description

In this role, you will lead a small development team while designing, building, and maintaining software applications that support business operations and customer-facing products. You will translate functional and technical requirements into reliable, scalable, and secure solutions, working collaboratively across technical design, development, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee one development team (2–4 developers) under the guidance of an Architect
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications, services, and APIs
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in accordance with coding standards
• Implement new features and enhance existing functionality
• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions
• Ensure solutions are scalable, performant, and maintainable
• Follow established design patterns and development best practices
• Create unit, integration, and automated tests
• Debug and resolve defects found across environments
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities
• Monitor application performance and resolve production issues
• Document technical solutions and operational procedures
• Contribute to technical specifications and technical design documentation for the software development team
• Analyze software source code to validate applications against business and technical requirements

Qualifications

• Required
  • Minimum 8+ years of professional experience working with C#, .NET Core, and Angular (latest versions)
  • Experience deploying software solutions using the Microsoft .NET framework
  • Backend expertise: .NET, C#, ASP.NET Web API, SQL Server
  • Frontend expertise: Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration
  • Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework, LINQ, and dependency injection
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and responsive design principles
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or Atlassian Jira
  • Good understanding of Agile methodology, including Scrum methods and processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team addressing technical issues and problems
  • Ability to work independently and apply critical thinking skills as required
  • Daily hands-on use of AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent) on production code—not pilots or side projects
  • Demonstrated judgment on where AI-assisted development works and where it does not, particularly with large legacy .NET codebases
  • Experience defining or enforcing team standards for reviewing and merging AI-generated code
• Preferred
  • Measurably improved team throughput or quality using AI tooling, with tracked metrics to demonstrate impact
  • Experience coaching 2–4 developers on AI-assisted workflows and presenting results to peer leads
