Description

You will design, install, and maintain network infrastructure using Fortinet and Sierra Wireless solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement network projects utilizing Fortinet and Sierra Wireless products and best practices.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues through detailed root cause analysis.
• Manage and update all network documentation and hardware inventory.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to end users and IT staff.
• Research and evaluate new network technologies and potential solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Deep expertise with Fortinet switching and firewall products (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
• Hands-on experience with Sierra Wireless cellular devices (AirLink routers/gateways, AirVantage cloud, SIM management).
• Strong proficiency with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLAN, and QoS.
• Experience implementing network security and compliance standards (PCI, HIPAA, NIST).
• Ability to lead project teams and supervise assignments for lower-level employees.
• Availability to work non-standard hours for emergencies or offshore team coordination.

Preferred Skills

• Fortinet NSE, FCX, FCP, or FCA certifications.
• Sierra Wireless certifications.
