Description

You will own the delivery and success of regional network services within a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure, troubleshoot, and support Cisco routers (3900, 3800, ASR), switches (9300, 3700, 6500, 2960, Nexus 5500, 7000), and wireless access points.
• Manage incident queues, perform after-hours network changes, and lead solve bridges during major outages.
• Review network change scripts for accuracy and adhere to strict change control processes and configuration standards.
• Open and monitor vendor TAC cases and perform network captures using protocol analyzers and wireless tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain network inventories and Visio documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing, designing, and supporting large enterprise networks.
• Advanced expertise in BGP and EIGRP routing protocols, including configuration from scratch and protocol redistribution.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Multicast, and LAN technologies including HSRP, STP, VLANs, and IP-subnetting.
• Strong expertise in WLAN technologies, including wireless controllers, WAPs, Cisco Prime, and 802.11 fundamentals.
• CCNA or CCNP certification is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.

Preferred Skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate remediation plans to leadership.
• Experience with corporate change procedures, design peer reviews, and general project planning.
