Description

You will own the administration and security of core messaging and identity infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Configure, secure, and optimize Microsoft Exchange in on-premises and Exchange Online environments.
• Manage identity systems, including Active Directory and Azure AD, defining access controls and permissions.
• Implement and enforce email security policies using tools like Proofpoint to prevent data leakage and threats.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, performance, and email delivery issues across integrated systems.
• Monitor security events and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks during system operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a network or systems engineering capacity.
• Advanced knowledge of Exchange Server administration (on-prem & O365).
• Proficiency in Active Directory and Azure AD administration.
• Strong understanding of email security concepts: DLP, SPF/DKIM, anti-spam/malware.
• Expertise in networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, Firewalls, DNS, and related protocols.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
• Working knowledge of Operating Systems administration and integration.
• Familiarity with IAM principles, including MFA and SSO implementation.
