Description

You will lead network discovery, design, and migration projects across complex enterprise campus environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform network discovery at unknown sites to assess physical and logical states.
• Develop high-level and low-level designs based on provided reference targets.
• Create step-by-step migration plans and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for hardware and cabling.
• Act as the technical lead during onsite migrations and equipment deployments.
• Provide post-migration hypercare and hand over documentation to network operations teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total experience in network engineering.
• 5 to 7 years of specialized experience in routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless LAN.
• CCNP or equivalent certification.
• Expertise in Cisco LAN and WLAN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco firewalls.
• Experience with large-scale campus switching (2 or 3 tier) and segmented LAN/WLAN.
• Knowledge of on-premises services including DHCP and DNS.
• Proficiency in physical layer management, including IDF/MDF, structured cabling, fiber, and rack layouts.
• Ability to work via CLI and GUI to resolve technical unknowns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Juniper, Barracuda, or SD-WAN.
• Automation experience or familiarity with Catalyst Center and Netbrain.
