Description

You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of the core network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Routing, Switching, Firewalls, and Wireless systems.
  • Administer network devices, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls.
  • Perform network maintenance, including device upgrades, patching, and security configuration.
  • Provide Level-3 support and resolve complex network and security issues.
  • Monitor system resource utilization, trends, and manage capacity planning.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience with BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP protocols.
  • Extensive knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies, including Data Centre switching and routing.
  • Strong experience managing and troubleshooting Nexus/Cisco switches using FEX, VPC, VXLAN, and VDCs.
  • Hands-on experience with dynamic routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, iBGP, and eBGP.
  • Proficiency with DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems.
  • Experience administering network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and ThousandEyes.
  • Familiarity with Cisco ACI implementation and Cisco Prime Infrastructure.
  • Experience managing IP addresses and resolving conflicts.
  • Knowledge of redundancy protocols like HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP.
