Description

You will support data center network evolution and infrastructure management for a 2-year term in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current data center network architectures in collaboration with the Network Architect.
• Prepare rack elevation diagrams, power requirements, and cabling cut sheets.
• Configure and implement new infrastructure to expand existing data center networks.
• Migrate connectivity from legacy infrastructure to new environments and decommission old hardware.
• Implement and maintain Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity and load balancer infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in network security using Cisco ASA and Firepower.
• 10 years of expertise with Cisco Nexus (9k/7k/5k), Cisco ASR, Cisco ISR, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco ACI, or VMware NSX.
• 10 years of experience with routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and RIP v2.
• 10 years of experience with F5 load balancing (LTM, GTM, BIG-IQ) and NSX Advanced Load Balancer (AVI).
• 10 years of experience drafting design diagrams, documentation, and performing network packet captures for troubleshooting.
• 7 years of experience managing data center layouts, power, cooling, and asset management systems.
• Deep knowledge of BGP, RIPv2, OSPF, EIGRP, BFD, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, and NAT.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with heterogeneous systems environments and DIIT network standards.
• Familiarity with Data Center Standards such as ANSI/TIA-942, ISO/IEC 24764, and ANSI/BICSI 002-2014.
