Description

You will own the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex network architectures in a physical Brooklyn, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement network topologies using Visio or draw.io.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 OSI model operations.
  • Manage spine-leaf architectures and VxLAN implementations.
  • Perform deep packet analysis using Wireshark to resolve connectivity issues.
  • Execute subnetting tasks for both IPv4 and IPv6 addressing formats.

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of experience in network engineering.
  • Expertise in Spanning Tree, VLAN, and VTP technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco VSS and VPC technology.
  • Proficiency with Arista MLAg and Arista CVP.
  • Advanced knowledge of routing protocols: RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
  • Deep understanding of VxLAN and spine-leaf architecture.
  • Practical experience with VRF-lite.
  • Strong ability to subnet IPv4 and IPv6 addresses quickly.
