Description

You will design and implement network architectures for tactical program requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define network architecture and create technical artifacts to provide design clarity.
• Collaborate with Army stakeholders to translate requirements, constraints, and risks into technical solutions.
• Manage relationships with partners and vendors integrated into the network solution.
• Test and evaluate deployed networks during government exercises and design iterative improvements.
• Refine network configurations based on performance metrics, user feedback, and mission demands.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting L2-L4 networking in DDIL environments.
• Experience with MANET radios and mesh architectures, including behavior under movement and terrain.
• Understanding of multi-enclave security networks used by US DOD, such as SIPR and JWICS.
• Proficiency with Wireshark, iperf, and tcpdump for diagnosing tactical network traffic and radio behavior.
• Knowledge of Satcom and P2P networking.
• Ability to engage with customers at both technical and business levels.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with Army tactical networks.
• Ability to script or automate network provisioning using Ansible, Bash, or Python.
