Description

You will manage and secure global production networks, including IP backbones, data centers, and edge POPs.

Responsibilities

• Implement network security policies across routers and firewalls.
• Design, implement, and test secured network solutions following regulatory policies.
• Manage network capacity, identify risks, and remediate issues.
• Perform quarterly proactive network testing to ensure service availability.
• Mentor network operations teams on installation, configuration, and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of Network Engineering experience.
• 4+ years configuring Cisco Nexus and/or Arista routing and switching platforms.
• 4+ years designing LAN, WAN, and Data Center solutions for large enterprises.
• 4+ years with IP routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and RIP.
• Proficiency with Cisco Nexus and Arista hardware.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Westlake, TX.
• Flexibility to be on call outside of normal working hours.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Skills

• Python, Ansible, or GitHub experience.
• CCNP Data Center or CCIE certification.
