Description

You will lead network infrastructure migrations from Cisco to Fortinet and Juniper, serving as the primary escalation point for complex deployment issues.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration, deployment, and optimization of Fortinet firewalls, Juniper switches, and wireless solutions during large-scale refreshes.
• Manage full lifecycle of network change controls in ServiceNow, ensuring accuracy, risk mitigation, and audit readiness.
• Troubleshoot advanced issues involving Fortinet, Juniper, and legacy Cisco devices during cutover phases.
• Develop and maintain network design documentation, migration procedures, and configuration standards.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and enhancing deployment processes.

Required Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
• Strong expertise with Juniper switches (EX/QFX series) and Juniper wireless solutions.
• Solid understanding of Cisco networking to support migration and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience managing change controls in ServiceNow.
• Experience with automation tools such as Python and Ansible.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, VLANs, and VPNs.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or transformation programs.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications such as Fortinet NSE or Juniper JNCIS/JNCIP.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust or cloud-integrated network architectures.
