Description

You will lead network architecture, modernization, and security initiatives across campus, branch, datacenter, and hybrid cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead network architecture and modernization for campus, branch, datacenter, and internet edge.
• Drive VPN strategy, remote access transformation, and alignment with next-gen firewalls.
• Implement network segmentation to limit lateral movement and establish risk-based trust zones.
• Partner with cybersecurity and application teams to design, test, and implement controlled network changes.
• Mentor engineers, establish best practices, and serve as the senior escalation point for complex incidents.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering and architecture in large enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise wireless.
• Strong background in firewall management, network security, and VPN technologies.
• Proven experience as a technical lead in both project delivery and business-as-usual support.
• Ability to create network diagrams, traffic flow maps, and implementation documentation.
• Experience with traffic analysis, telemetry, and identifying performance bottlenecks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, and Fortinet platforms.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA, and cloud networking across AWS and other public clouds.
• Familiarity with automation, infrastructure-as-code, and authentication technologies like 802.1x and RADIUS.
