Description

You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network architectures across on-prem and cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review existing network topology to identify and execute architectural improvements.
• Manage device configurations, change management, patch management, and hardware inventory.
• Provide L3 to L5 support for production issues and cybersecurity incidents.
• Execute failover and disaster recovery testing for critical network components.
• Configure and implement security controls across cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls.
• Proficiency with Cisco Nexus 2/3/5/7K platforms, ISRs, and 3900 series routers.
• Deep knowledge of OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP routing protocols.
• Experience with L2/L3 technologies including VTP, LACP, 802.1Q, RSTP, ARP, CDP, HSRP, GLBP, VSS/VSL, and QoS.
• Ability to implement LAN/WAN technologies such as MPLS, DMVPN, and IPsec.
• Strong understanding of AWS and cloud network security in multi-tenancy environments.
• Experience with network security protocols including RADIUS/TACACS+, 802.1x, and SNMP.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of PCI and SOX compliance.
• Knowledge of Cisco iWAN.
