Description

You will own Level 3 support and day-to-day management for a global data network.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy LAN/WAN network infrastructure and services.
• Perform Level 3 troubleshooting for routing loops, asymmetric routing, and STP issues.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and QoS.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, security configurations, and capacity planning.
• Implement security tools and policies in coordination with the security team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of network engineering experience.
• Active CCNP certification.
• Proficiency with Cisco IOS and NX-OS software.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus 9K/7K series switches.
• Deep knowledge of routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Expertise in LAN switching: VLAN, VTP, STP, and EtherChannel.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco ASA, IPS, and Cisco ISE.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, SNMP, and application protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SSL).
• Competency in network security: IPSec/SSL VPN, Cisco AnyConnect, AAA architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS, and 802.1x.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SD-WAN, specifically Silver Peak.
• Experience with Next Gen Firewalls, specifically Cisco Firepower.
• Experience with Cisco WLC wireless configuration.
