Description

You will own the resolution of high-severity network issues for a large financial services client.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Triage and troubleshoot high-severity network issues, including outages and slow application performance.
• Identify and mitigate network problems across the enterprise infrastructure.
• Resolve incidents by applying deep knowledge of core networking components.
• Advocate for and implement infrastructure as code practices in network operations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, security, and architecture.
• Expertise in IP routing, firewall configuration, load balancers, proxies, and DNS.
• Proficiency with Python and Ansible for automation and infrastructure development.
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking and security constructs in AWS and/or Azure.
• Familiarity with ITSM practices for Incident, Change, and Problem management.
• Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts.
• CCNP or CCSE certification.

Preferred Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
