Description

You will design, implement, and maintain large-scale network infrastructure with a heavy focus on security and environment segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead segregation efforts between production and non-production networks to ensure secure separation.
• Develop comprehensive network implementation plans that meet business requirements and security standards.
• Administer network hardware, virtualization, and routing across multiple environments.
• Identify and build automation for repetitive manual tasks.
• Present network designs, articulate technical risks, and facilitate decision-making with stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience designing and implementing large-scale networks, preferably in Financial Services, technology vendors, or systems integrators.
• Expertise in Ethernet technologies including STP, 802.1x, VPC, Multilayer Switching, and Leaf-Spine IP Fabric.
• Advanced IP Routing knowledge: RIP, OSPF, BGP, MPBGP, and TCP/IP.
• Proficiency in Multicast routing (PIEM, IGMP, MSDP) and VxLAN.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 Series and Arista switching platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NXOS, IOS-XR, and Arista EOS.
• Strong understanding of Network Security Concepts, multi-tier architectures, defense in depth, and zero trust networking.
• Experience with SDN, SDWAN, and DMVPN.

Preferred Skills

• CCIE or equivalent and CISSP certifications.
• Automation experience using Python and Ansible.
• Proficiency with Wireshark, Infoblox, HPNA, Splunk, and Sevone.
