Description

You will manage the installation, implementation, and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN systems, firewalls, and enterprise wireless networks in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on configuration and intensive troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
• Oversee the purchase and implementation of firewalls, IPS, and wireless networks.
• Provide technical escalation support and knowledge transfer to junior engineers.
• Maintain high-availability network topologies and data center infrastructure.
• Manage network performance using QoS and VoIP integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of networking experience.
• Strong BGP routing expertise.
• Proficiency with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switching.
• Hands-on experience with OSPF and EIGRP.
• Deep understanding of VLANs and Spanning-Tree.
• Ability to perform Layer 2 and Layer 3 functions in a lab environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Cisco CCNP certification (active or expired).
• Experience with data center infrastructure and security/encryption technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco or Fortinet firewall experience.
• Cisco Wireless or Juniper Mist Wireless experience.
• Juniper Router configuration experience.
