Description

You will design, implement, and maintain the network architecture while owning capacity planning and infrastructure troubleshooting.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement future network equipment installations and capacity expansions.
• Create and update documentation for current network architecture.
• Perform high-level analysis and troubleshooting of network infrastructure issues.
• Work independently with approved vendors and state agencies to resolve complex network problems.
• Provide technical direction and leadership to team members.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Deep expertise in TCP/IP, VLANs, and WANs.
• Experience with SONET and DWDM technologies.
• Proficiency in SolarWinds and Splunk.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst Center.
