Description

You will manage the stability, security, and performance of the network infrastructure, including campus, roadside, backbone, and LAN environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Layer 2 and 3 protocols, including the deployment and maintenance of routers and switches.
• Monitor network activity using SolarWinds to create dashboards for proactive troubleshooting and management reporting.
• Review network architecture and design to optimize failover capabilities, reliability, and performance.
• Implement network security measures, including access controls, segmentation, and disaster recovery plans.
• Support cloud architecture design, focusing on capacity, stability, and security across AWS and Azure.

Required Skills

• 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with Layer 2/3 routing protocols and troubleshooting.
• 5 to 7 years of experience with Unix (RedHat), Windows, and VMWare.
• Experience managing Private, Public, and Hybrid Cloud infrastructures, specifically AWS and Azure platforms.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
• Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) certification.
• Knowledge of NIST industry best practices and configuration guidelines.
• Ability to manage routers, switches, wireless systems, and load balancers.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification.
