Description

You will manage all phases of network infrastructure, from initial configuration and implementation to ongoing troubleshooting and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, and troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity and enterprise network security.
• Design and implement network requirements for LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless environments.
• Serve as an escalation point for infrastructure issues for the Help Desk and System teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Manage and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and related security devices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional network engineering experience in a medium to large organization (1000+ employees).
• Deep knowledge of IP data networking and complex routed IP networks.
• Hands-on experience with layer two/three switches, advanced routers, and firewalls.
• Proficiency with BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Experience supporting multi-site data and VOIP in SDWAN/IWAN environments.
• Proven experience with voice/data circuits, VPN connectivity, and S2S VPN.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches (9500, 4500, 3850, 3750) and Nexus 5K/9K.
• Familiarity with Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto firewalls, and Cisco ISE.
• Practical experience with packet capture and analysis.
• Ability to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.

Preferred Skills

• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Experience with Aruba wireless and VMWare virtualization.
• Knowledge of Solarwinds NPM, SAM, IPAM, NCM, and LEM.
