Description

You will design, implement, and support secure, highly available network infrastructure across on-premises data centers and Microsoft Azure. You own the stability of enterprise connectivity, hybrid cloud links, and critical application traffic flows.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data center switching and routing using Cisco Nexus platforms.
• Configure and manage Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, NAT, and VPN.
• Implement hybrid connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure using ExpressRoute and VPN.
• Troubleshoot complex network, firewall, and cloud connectivity issues affecting servers and database systems.
• Perform root cause analysis, traffic path validation, and maintain network observability for high availability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Deep expertise in Cisco Nexus switching, Layer 2/Layer 3 concepts, VLANs, vPC, and STP.
• Proficiency in routing protocols BGP and OSPF for optimized traffic routing.
• Hands-on administration of Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto firewall platforms.
• Experience configuring Azure Virtual Networks and Azure ExpressRoute.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).
• Knowledge of data center high availability architecture and redundancy design.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and infrastructure observability platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting critical enterprise systems, including SQL database connectivity and backup routing.
• Understanding of enterprise security best practices and network segmentation strategies.
