Description

You will manage all phases of network infrastructure, from configuration and implementation to troubleshooting and security operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement network design and security requirements based on business strategies and stakeholder needs.
• Configure, install, and troubleshoot new and existing infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless connectivity.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for infrastructure issues for the Help Desk and System teams.
• Manage enterprise network security operations and support wired and wireless connectivity.
• Collaborate with senior engineering staff to develop requirements for routers, switches, firewalls, and related devices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional network engineering experience in a medium to large organization with 1000+ employees.
• Hands-on experience with complex routed IP networks, layer two/three switches, and advanced routers.
• Proficiency with BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Experience supporting multi-site data and VOIP in an SDWAN/IWAN environment.
• Practical experience with VPN connectivity and diverse carrier circuits including MPLS, DIA, T1, broadband, satellite, and cellular.
• Working knowledge of Cisco Catalyst switches (9500, 4500, 3850, 3750) and Cisco Nexus (5K, 9K).
• Experience with wireless technologies, video conferencing, and datacenter technology.
• Familiarity with VMWare virtualization technologies and network storage protocols.
• Ability to perform packet capture and analysis.

Preferred Skills

• CCNA or CCNP certification.
