Description

You will own enterprise network engineering with a focus on Zscaler Zero Trust infrastructure, routing, switching, and identity integration.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, roll out, and support Zscaler ZIA and ZPA in production environments.
• Integrate Zscaler with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco network infrastructure, and Okta for identity and group-based policy.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end flows across client, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Zscaler layers using logs and packet captures.
• Mentor junior and peer engineers while collaborating with Principal or Lead engineers on complex initiatives.
• Partner with internal project teams to take intake for new Zscaler-related projects and ensure clear communication.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience covering routing, switching, VPN/SD-WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S.
• Strong hands-on production experience with Zscaler ZIA and ZPA including design, rollout, support, and troubleshooting.
• Current Zscaler certification (Associate, Professional, or Architect) or equivalent proven expertise.
• Proven integration experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco network infrastructure, and Okta.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for end-to-end flows, including deep analysis of logs and packet captures.
• Strong communication skills for partnering with internal teams and managing project intake.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting and automation experience (Python, Ansible, Terraform) for network and security workflows.
• Experience in hybrid/multi-cloud environments or regulated, security-sensitive sectors.
