Description

You will design, implement, and support low-latency network solutions for mission-critical trading environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and support low-latency network solutions specifically for trading environments.
• Perform packet capture, troubleshooting, and latency analysis using Wireshark.
• Conduct root cause analysis for network incidents and optimize network paths for latency-sensitive traffic.
• Maintain the TCP/IP protocol suite, multicast networking, and SNMP monitoring.
• Leverage the Linux CLI and network stack to support system integrations and resolve issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Expertise in the TCP/IP protocol suite and multicast networking.
• Proficiency with SNMP and Wireshark for packet capture and latency analysis.
• Deep understanding of the Linux network stack and command line interface.
• Experience troubleshooting within financial services or trading domains.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with electronic trading platforms, market data distribution, or FIX protocol.
• CCNP or CCIE certifications.
