Description

Design, implement, and support low-latency network solutions for trading environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Perform packet capture analysis, troubleshooting, and latency analysis using Wireshark and related tools.
• Support and maintain the TCP/IP protocol suite, multicast networking, and SNMP monitoring.
• Leverage Linux CLI and network stack expertise to support system integrations and resolve issues.
• Analyze latency-sensitive traffic and optimize network paths to meet business requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for network incidents and propose long-term fixes for critical trading infrastructure.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in TCP/IP protocol suite, multicast networking, and SNMP.
• Proficiency in Linux command line interface and deep understanding of the Linux network stack.
• Demonstrated experience in packet capture analysis, troubleshooting, and latency analysis.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in network engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Solid knowledge of financial services networking, with direct trading domain experience.
• Experience supporting low-latency networks or electronic trading platforms.
