Description

You will manage and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures to ensure high availability and security.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve network issues, including routing loops, asymmetric routing, and STP loop issues.
• Implement operational changes and coordinate with project teams on technical deployments.
• Represent the team during change and incident management meetings.
• Analyze device metrics, such as high CPU utilization, to provide hardware and configuration recommendations.
• Communicate technical requirements clearly to customers and offshore teams.

Required Skills

• Active CCNP certification.
• 5+ years of network engineering experience.
• Expertise in routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN using Silver Peak.
• Proficiency in LAN switching, including VLAN, VTP, STP, and EtherChannel.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco ASA, IPS, and ISE.
• Strong knowledge of network security: IPSec, SSL VPN, Cisco AnyConnect, AAA, TACACS+, RADIUS, and 802.1x.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus 9K/7K series switches and IOS/NX-OS software.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, SNMP, and application protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, and SSL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cisco Firepower Next Gen Firewalls.
• Experience with Zscaler cloud firewall services.
• Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
