Description

You will own the stability and security of the multi-datacenter network infrastructure in Richardson, TX.

Responsibilities

• Manage firewall configurations, validate security policies, and resolve vulnerabilities through code updates or configuration changes.
• Monitor real-time network conditions to diagnose outages, identify single points of failure, and implement remediation solutions.
• Maintain network infrastructure including load balancers, WAN optimization devices, wireless controllers, and Solarwinds monitoring tools.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, standards, and guidelines for data and telephony environments.
• Provide technical knowledge transfer and support to IT departments on network and voice functions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with network technologies in multi-datacenter, multi-site topologies.
• Deep proficiency with GLBP, HSRP, QoS, OSPF, and BGP protocols.
• Strong knowledge of multi-context firewall environments and Cisco Command Line Interface (CLI).
• Experience managing policies, object groups, VPN configurations, and end-user support.
• Proficiency with SD-WAN and point-to-point WAN technologies.
• Ability to rapidly diagnose system errors, minimize downtime, and document troubleshooting techniques.
