Description

You will manage large-scale router, switch, and firewall deployments at customer locations with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Design and install computer networks, connections, and cabling.
• Troubleshoot system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure network efficiency.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for severity incidents.
• Create network documentation using Visio and MS PowerPoint.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• In-depth experience configuring and managing Data Centre Cisco Nexus Switches (5K, 7K, 9K).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers (7600, 7500, 7200, 3800, 3700, 3600, 2600, 2900, 1900, 1800, 1700 series) and switches (Nexus 7010, 7009, 9300, 3850; Cisco 3500, 2960 series).
• Experience managing firewalls including Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Fortinet, Checkpoint Next Generation FW, and Cisco FTD.
• Proficiency in routing and switching on Cisco and Juniper platforms.
• Working knowledge of load balancer technology (Citrix, Radware, or F5).
• Experience with Access-lists and Cisco IOS security features.
• Knowledge of SDWAN and BSNL/MTNL WAN link infrastructure.
• Understanding of security vulnerabilities, threats, and attacks.

Preferred Skills

• CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIE lab certifications.
• Working knowledge of VMware NSX-SDN solutions.
